April 6, 2010 v.2.4.12

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed some spelling problems.
  2. Closing and reopening of tickets should be a lot faster.
  3. Fixed the bug from ticket 450.
  4. The ticket list is now the same height as the ticket area.
  5. Fixed the bug from ticket 451.
  6. Fixed some theme issues relating to fonts.
  7. Ticket lists now fit inside the default window height. There is a scroll bar inside the page to see tickets that can not be seen.
  8. Ticket list now shows more relevant information about each of the tickets. Including due on, completed on, and over due by. This was always intended and was not working properly.

New Features

  1. Ticket lists now show the same icons as the normal ticket view.
  2. Ticket lists have been reorganized a bit. The created by link is now on the right instead of the left.

Known Issues

  1. Large Graphs are still not working properly
  2. Some themes do not work 100%
  3. There are no page numbers, nor any way to show more then the default amount of tickets in the list view.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed a bug that was causing tickets that you reassigned to be shown in the side area as if you created them.
  2. Fixed a long standing bug that was not filtering some of the show all areas by the logged in user
  3. Fixed a bug with the start page not showing tickets if they were old and got a new response since your last visit.
  4. Fixed the bug from ticket 434.

New Features

  1. New start page.
    1. Tickets that have been worked on since your last visit are now shown instead of the update notes. Update notes are still accessible though the link in the top right corner.
    2. Ticket lists have been reworked along side the crusade to banish the table tag.
  2. Tickets is using the rounded corner CSS from the theme generator now. This will insure that the corners look correct.
  3. New look to tickets and replies. More table tags squashed!

Known Issues

  1. Large Graphs are still not working properly
  2. Some themes do not work 100%
  3. There are no page numbers, nor any way to show more then the default amount of tickets in the list view.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed a bug that was preventing any favorite tickets from showing the proper icon.
  2. Tickets is now working in Opera, as well as versions of Firefox prior to 3.1.

New Features

  1. Ticket types are now in. They are bug tickets and trouble tickets.

be sure to choose the proper type of ticket. Bug reports should be fixed for web code and things that can be fixed, but probably not related to computers. While trouble tickets are for everything that is not a bug.

  1. Recent tickets should now be working properly.

Known Issues

  1. Large Graphs are still not working properly
  2. Some themes do not work 100%
  3. There are no page numbers, nor any way to show more then the default amount of tickets in the list view.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed some bugs relating to the new theme definitions.
  2. Removed uploads as they were not being used and caused lots of bugs.
  3. Fixed some email issues that crept up.
  4. Fixed some small graphical issues relating to the sprite.
  5. Fixed a javascript mistake that was preventing favorites from working properly.
  6. Fixed a bug that was causing the buttons to disapear on a ticket.
  7. Fixed the javascript error relating to tick.status.

New Features

  1. User links. You can now link to a search of all tickets created by a user with [user=1234]
  2. Tickets now uses the newest version of jQuery!
  3. Dateter is now part of tickets!
    1. Enjoy selecting due dates with a new popup date selector.
  4. Url links are now in. [url=http://www.google.com] would create a proper URL link to a page outside of tickets.
  5. Moving to a new naming convention for ticket updates. They will be numbered instead of just putting in the date

Known Issues

  1. Tickets is currently having issues in Opera
  2. Large Graphs are still not working properly
  3. Recent Tickets are not updating like they should
  4. Some themes do not work 100%

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue with new tickets not having who they are assigned to on the email.
  2. Updated the look of the email to aid in read-ability.
  3. Small bug with over due tickets. A quote was miss-escaped.
  4. Fixed a display issue with the default theme. This should still carry over fine with the other themes.
  5. Fixed an issue that was causing email ticket links to not actually link to the ticket as if they were outside the site.
  6. Lots of javascript adjustments for speed of site.
  7. Resolved a small bug caused by titles that had mysql characters in them.

New Features

  1. There is now a recent tickets button, and drop down. It keeps track of all the tickets that you look at, it shows the most recent 10 tickets.
  2. Added icons to the tool bar buttons.
  3. Ticket list should now display faster.
  4. Ticket list is now paginated, each page as 20 results.
  5. The URL bar does work for bookmarking of response pages.

September 16, 2009

Bug Fixes

  1. Due date default set to 7 days instead of 3
  2. Reply email now shows the last reply that was posted in the email. Also fixed the formatting up a bit.
  3. Small theme adjustments.
  4. Changed the look of the ticket list to be more in line with the rest of the site.
  5. Turned the department drop down into a table layout instead of div cells with display table.
  6. Removed the graph from the stats area.

New Features

  1. There are now more icons.
  2. More of the links on the page now look like links, status bar and all.

Bug Fixes

  1. Closed ticket notifications are now back.
  2. Cleaned up some Javascript. Tickets is now more Linty.
  3. More theme adjustments
  4. Reassign display was off.
  5. Location is now mandatory.

New Features

  1. Department box is a lot easier to close. Just click anywhere on the screen when its open and its gone.
  2. All responses are now auto titled. The title can be changed, this is to fix the problem of no title responses.
  3. Alternative email addresses are in. The address will overwride whatever email you have on the website, with one specifically for tickets.

Bug Fixes

  1. Posting new tickets without attachments was causing there to apear to be 6 broken attachments.

New Features

  1. Ticket linking. You can now link to a different ticket by putting in [ticket=id] where id is the ticket number. This feature works inside the responses and inside the ticket body. It does not work in the titles of either.

Bug Fixes

  1. Some adjustments to Due On.
  2. Reduced the size of some of the javascript files
  3. Looks better in Internet Explorer now.

New Features

  1. Support for new themes
  2. Uploading of Images is now supported. (Supported Files include PNG, and JPG)
    1. You can attach an image to your ticket and it will show up as a small thumbnail.
  3. Date selector will be in the next update, its ready but not tested enough.

Bug Fixes

  1. Many adjustments to the JavaScript to cause the page to build and load faster.

New Features

  1. Due dates. Tickets can now have due dates. The default date is 3 days ahead of when the ticket is created. This can be adjusted in the new ticket form. It can also be edited on new and old tickets alike.
  2. Tickets are now sorted by Due date. Tickets that have turned red are over due tickets.
  3. Added a replies counter.

Bug Fixes

  1. The commit button on the edit popup now indicates that you are committing changes instead of adding a new ticket
  2. The ticket area and Repose areas should now have a more similar look to them.

New Features

  1. Edit button works again
  2. More icons to describe the status of a ticket from a glance
  3. Department drop down now has more icons.

July 21, 2009

Bug Fixes

  1. Converted more things to internal PHP functions. Should speed up some of the back end.
  2. Cut the amount of Ajax requests by 5/6. All the ticket data that is updated every 30 seconds is now done with one request. This not only lessons the load on the server, but seeds up the client side.
  3. Fixed the theme of email. This was a left over effect of theme support on the live website.
  4. There was a small bug with the border-image and the popup. The border was being hidden on parts of it. This is now fixed.

New Features

  1. New icon for reassigned tickets.
  2. Javascript is now on the fly minimized, and combined. Less files to download means faster loading of tickets.

  1. Fixed some typos that were causing some issues.
  2. Fixed some small bugs related to the move to the Unified login
  3. Fixed bug that was causing the check mark to disappear from the department notification box

New Features

  1. New pop up box look, and even more theme support.
  2. Smaller Javascript files for faster page load.
  3. Smaller CSS files for faster page loads.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed some issues with the large graph display (Opera, Internet Explorer)
  2. Fixed a rounded border glitch that was removing the rounded borders (Firefox Safari/Webkit)
  3. Tickets should now look better in Internet Explorer 7, and look even better in Internet Explorer 8.

New Features

  1. Added links to RSS feeds on the Department drop down.
  2. Notices are now shown in a more logical manor.
  3. New Large Graphs for responses and a stacked graph for categories and departments.
  4. New status icons next to the ticket title. Will tell you at a glance about the ticket.
  5. Tickets is now even more CSS2.1 compliant, floats are being migrated to Display:table
  6. New email system now lets you know when your tickets have been closed, and sends you all the responses from the ticket.
    1. The email system is fully theme compliant. The default theme from the website will be in your email as well. Attached is a screen shot of the email.

Bug Fixes

  1. Small graphs are now fully functional

New Features

  1. New larger graphs showing more data. You can access these from the more link on the bottom of the statistics group on the left side of the screen.
    1. The larger graphs how have a hover feature. This will tell you what you are looking at by just hovering over them.
  2. Tickets RSS feed. You can now monitor your open tickets, and bookmarked tickets though an rss feed. The bookmarked tickets will let you know if the ticket is open or not, and the normal RSS feed will show you all open tickets for your department including ones belonging to you.
    1. This feed can be accessed by clicking on the RSS icon in the address bar, a list of options will come up, to guide you though the selections.
  3. Added security update to site, tickets now uses the new password storing scheme. Your passwords are no longer recoverable.
    1. This currently disables tickets till the conversion update goes into effect on the live website. So if you cant log into tickets this is why.
